Advice to the Brides

Its understandable to be running around like a chicken with your head cut off when D-Day (lol) is near. But if you want your wedding memories to be captured in the best way possible, here are a few things I suggest.

1. BE ON TIME!
I know I know, that's a lot to ask someone who is getting married, probably very busy, and something always causes a delay. But in order to get as many pictures possible, all of the parties involved in the wedding need to be on time so they are in all the pictures they are supposed to be.
2. Create a photography schedule!
If you have everything written down, laid out, and the photographer and all parties know exactly where to be and when for expected photo's, things move along a lot smoother. For instance, if you want to be photographed with your mother at 9 am in the hotel getting dressed, then the photographer needs to jump down the street to the grooms, then to the wedding location for the arrival at 10 am etc.. all that needs to be written down and with whom the pictures are expected to be taken of. Just makes things so much easier for everyone.
3. Picture Arrangements!
There are more often then not situations within families and friends of both bride and groom where not everyone gets along as great as one might hope. For example, I spoke with a Mother-of-the-bride the other day who instructed me specifically to make sure her sons new wife was nowhere to be found in any of the pictures that would be placed in her parent album. Then we decided to just place the DIL on the end of every picture, so the people who didnt wish to have her in the picture, could simply have her cropped out. Seem like an odd request? I have soo many stories. Photographers are there to make the memories last, good ones. We will whatever you ask, because you are paying us to do so. But taking into consideration how others might feel or those who arent so quite friendly, make sure you have your picture arrangements done ahead of time and your photographer is instructed so there arent any mishaps.
